Description: In autumn 2007 just 33% of employees felt they could talk to stakeholders about the purpose of the newly-created Natural England.  18 months later, 72% said they felt they could talk confidently about the organisation.  At this breakfast session, Guy Thompson, Executive Director, External Affairs and a member of Natural England’s Executive Board will talk about how Natural England has created this dramatic shift in confidence, and equipped its employees to develop better working relationships with external stakeholders.

The success of this project was recognised by winning the 2009 global IABC Gold Quill Award for Employee Communication – one of just two UK winners.  Hilary Scarlett, consultant on the project will talk about entering for the award.
