Latest research shows content is king!

IABC has just released the findings of its latest research into the role of professional associations.  Nearly 2500 communications professionals from around the globe took part in the survey research and the findings are clear.  Providing access to content, connections and recognition should be the focus of professional associations in the 21st century.  The executive summary and full report are posted on www.iabc.com.

“The findings were presented to us at the IABC Leader Institute in January and led to animated discussions about what IABC should do in light of this research,” said Gloria Walker, ABC, Chair of the Europe/Middle East Region. “The regional board will be discussing this issue with IABC President Mark Schumann during his visit to the region this month.  We will also be holding discussions with members at the region’s Leader Institute in April to get input from members on what we should be doing in the region to deliver content, connections and recognition here.”

Members are encouraged to review the report and to share their comments and suggestions with the EME Board.
