More than 120 people gathered in Rotterdam last week for EuroComm 2016. Themed “Growing Business with Communication” the event focused on how communications practitioners across the full spectrum add value to the companies they work for.
We heard from NGOs, agencies, recruiters, global corporates, independent consultants, and even a communications professional turned politician. The case studies, topics and disciplines were as varied as they were interesting. We learned about the power of language, and the emotional effect a single image can convey to an audience; we heard how companies are using big data and how they are tapping into human nature for culture change; we also looked at advances in technology and what will be required from communications professionals in the future. And much more …
People from all over the world tuned into the conversation via Twitter too, from as far afield as Australia, Canada and the US. More than 180 people live tweeted their thoughts and insights, reaching an audience of over 2,4 million people (impressions) over the course of just two days – a really impressive network.
