Planning Communications for Brexit with Instinctif Partners’ Warwick Smith

6 September 2018 | 14:30 - 15:30 UTC+0

There is a plan; there isn’t a plan. Are we leaving with a deal, or are we going out on no deal? And ‘Brexit means Brexit’. Communicators have never faced a similar challenge. As we all grapple with the myriad of issues thrown up by the referendum on the UK’s membership of the European Union, who do we turn to for advice and counsel?

We’re delighted to be joined by Warwick Smith, the Managing Partner of Instinctif Partners and their lead on all public affairs (including Brexit). A leading voice on all things Brexit, Warwick will be updating us on what is happening when it comes to Brexit, and what we should be looking out for over the coming 12 months.

In this webinar, you will learn:

• About the various scenarios you and your organizations will face when it comes to Brexit;

• What impact Brexit will have, not just in the UK but across Europe and the globe, and

• How you can best prepare your organization and employees for different scenarios.

Presenter/Warwick Smith

Warwick joined Instinctif Partners in October 2006 to establish the Global Public Policy practice. He advises a range of clients on domestic and international legislative, regulatory and public policy issues. Prior to joining Instinctif Partners, he had been Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Citigate Public Affairs Ltd, and Senior Managing Director UK of The Global Consulting Group (of which Citigate Public Affairs became part in 2005, following the acquisition of Incepta Group plc by Huntsworth plc). Before joining the public affairs industry, Warwick was in UK government service for 16 years as a policy adviser, ministerial aide, and international negotiator.

Warwick was named in PR Week’s Power Book 2018, a guide to the most influential and respected PR professionals in the UK today.
