SUMMARY:IABC EMENA Berlin Comms Coffee Meetup February 2026
DESCRIPTION:IABC EMENA Berlin Comms Coffee Meetup — 27 February 2026 \n⚡☕Some of the best professional conversations happen in small groups\, over coffee\, with people who genuinely understand the work. \nOn Friday\, 27 February\, the IABC EMENA community is gathering in Berlin for an energizing morning meetup with communication professionals from across the city and beyond. This is a chance to step out of the usual rush\, reconnect with familiar faces\, and meet new ones across corporate\, agency\, and independent roles. \nThe format is intentionally informal and community-led. People come to exchange perspectives on the realities of the profession\, share what they are working on\, and spend time with peers they rarely get to see in one place. The group will stay small to keep the atmosphere easy and conversational. \nIf you’re in Berlin that day and would enjoy a thoughtful gathering with the local IABC community\, join us: \nDate: Friday\, 27 February 2026\nTime: 09:00-11:00\nLocation: 19grams Alex \nRegistration: via our LinkedIn Events section is required to keep the group curated. \nSpace is limited and excitement is high\, so register today to secure your seat at the table. This is a casual get-together — food and drinks will be available for individual purchase. \n🚨 Important note: only registered attendees with a confirmation message from IABC EMENA will receive the entry details. Keep an eye on your inbox! \n👉 What is IABC? \nThe International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) is a global network of communication professionals across 80 countries. By joining this community meet-up\, you’ll experience what IABC offers: expert insights from industry leaders\, a supportive community\, and key resources to boost your communication career.

SUMMARY:Communication Leadership Summit 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Communication Leadership Summit returns to Brussels for a second edition on 17 April. \nMost events for communication professionals focus on sharpening individual skills\, refining strategy\, or building executive presence. \nThe Communication Leadership Summit takes a different approach and asks: What can we achieve together? \nLast year\, 75+ senior communication leaders gathered in Brussels to explore the future of our profession. They left with some of the most valuable conversations they’d had all year and a global network of peers. \nThis April\, we’re doing it again. \nWhat makes this event different \nThe summit is a full-day “unconference”: a facilitated session powered by the people in the room. There are no panels\, keynotes\, or preset agendas. \nInstead\, participants lead the conversation and tackle the biggest challenges facing our profession together. \nThe format is designed to spark bold ideas\, build meaningful connections\, and rethink what leadership means\, both individually and collectively. \nWhat will we talk about?\nThe agenda is open. Anyone can propose a session: a question you’re wrestling with\, a challenge you’re facing\, something you’re curious about. \nLast year\, people suggested topics like: \n\nMeasuring the ROI of communication (and getting leadership to care)\nLeading communication through organizational change and uncertainty\nBuilding and retaining high-performing teams on tight budgets\nHow to get a seat at the executive table – and keep it\nThe future of our profession and how we shape it\nPersonal branding for communication leaders\nEmployee engagement when trust is broken\nIntegrating AI into communication teams\n\nIf a topic matters to you\, lead it. If you’re curious\, join it. If it’s not delivering value\, move to another conversation. You’re in charge of your own experience. \nWho should attend \nThe Communication Leadership Summit is for communication professionals ready to shape both the future of the profession and their own role in it. \nYou’ll get the most from the event if you are: \n\nA senior communication leader – Chief Communication Officer\, Director\, or Head of Communication – who shapes strategy and drives organizational impact\nA senior advisor\, strategist\, or consultant leading change in the profession\nAn agency or freelance leader looking to connect\, influence\, and collaborate globally\nAn ambitious early- or mid-career professional aspiring to leadership roles\n\nWhether you’re already at the top or preparing to step up\, the event gives you the space to connect with peers\, shape the conversation\, and co-create the future of communication. \nWhy you should be in the room\nHere’s why you should join us: \n\nShape the profession’s future\nBe part of bold conversations about making communication essential to business success and redefining how its impact is measured.\n\n\nConnect with peers who get it\nMeet communication leaders who share your challenges and ambitions. Build a network you can turn to for ideas\, support\, and collaboration long after the summit ends.\n\n\nGet clarity and confidence\nGet practical strategies you can use right away to inspire your team\, influence decision-makers\, and demonstrate your value.\n\n\nMove your priorities forward\nWhether you’re integrating AI\, securing resources\, or building stakeholder trust\, you’ll leave with actionable next steps.\n\n\nStay ahead of change\nExplore the trends reshaping our profession – from AI to evolving workplace expectations – and learn how to navigate them successfully.\n\nSpots are filling up fast – get your ticket now.

Your best bet is to stick to public transport\, where you’re spoiled for choice with the Jubilee line\, Elizabeth line\, DLR\, Uber Boats\, buses\, and taxis. \nIs the venue accessible? \nYes! The venue is fully accessible and accessible toilets are available in the Observatory. There are lifts up to the 53rd floor (perhaps unsurprisingly!) and everything is on one level. If you have an accessibility concern\, please don’t hesitate to contact Simon Cavendish at simon@simonmonger.com. \nDo you make a profit on the event? \nThe short answer? No. We make minimal profit on London Unfiltered and the ticket price is simply to cover the venue hire costs.

SUMMARY:Berlin Unfiltered: Chapter 1
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the first evening of unfiltered human connection where five people will courageously share a short and simple personal story. \nOn 23 September\, Unfiltered comes to Berlin for the first time. \nFive speakers will each have five minutes to tell one personal story. The stories will not be announced in advance\, and they will not be professional talks\, company case studies or polished career lessons. \nThey may be funny\, uncomfortable\, surprising\, tender or completely unexpected. The only certainty is that each one belongs to the person telling it. \nUnfiltered began in Perth and has since reached cities including London\, Sydney\, Cape Town and Chicago. SUMMARY:Warsaw City Connect | IABC EMENA - October 2026
DESCRIPTION:Networking and inspiration for employer branding and communication professionals \nJoin IABC EMENA and BNP Paribas Bank Polska for a morning of presentations\, discussion\, and networking with communication professionals. \nAgenda\n09:00 AM – 09:30 AM\nNetworking and coffee \n09:30 AM – 09:35 AM\nWelcome\, Bank BNP Paribas\, IABC EMENA. \n09:35 AM – 10:00 AM\nEmployer Branding Is Not a Logo on a Mug. It’s Communication Edyta Sander \nEB strategy is only as good as its execution through communication. Every message — job ads\, LinkedIn posts\, rejection emails\, manager feedback — either builds or breaks the employer brand. \n10:00 AM – 10:45 AM\nAre we telling everyone’s story except our own? Lucy Eckley \nWe spend our careers helping other people and organisations tell their stories. Yet we rarely pause to articulate our own – what we stand for\, what makes us distinctive and where we’d like our careers to go next. The result is a gap: between the value we create and the value others see. This gap doesn’t just affect our career opportunities. It can limit our influence with leaders\, keep our teams positioned as order-takers rather than strategic advisers\, and undermine the perceived value of our profession. In this interactive and practical session\, Lucy will explore why brilliant communicators often struggle to articulate their own value – and what we can do to tell a story that makes our contribution\, expertise and impact clear. \n10:45 AM – 11:00 AM\nCoffee break \n11:00 AM – 12:00 PM\nLEGO® Serious Play Mini-Workshop \nParticipants will see why building models often leads to more open and meaningful conversations than traditional brainstorming. They’ll leave not only with a set of special Lego bricks\, but also with hands-on experience with the method and inspiration on how to use it in internal communication—whether implementing changes\, engaging teams\, leading workshops\, or building a common language within the organization. \n \nEdyta Sander is a highly regarded specialist with over 16 years of experience in recruitment marketing and employer branding. As a lecturer in the postgraduate program at AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków\, she teaches courses on designing image campaigns and employer branding strategies. She also co-organizes the #EBMASTERS meetings\, which have become a key event for employer branding enthusiasts in Poland. \nAs a practitioner with many years of experience and the author of award-winning strategies\, Edyta offers a unique combination of theoretical knowledge and practical tools. Her presentations and workshops are not only inspiring but\, above all\, provide concrete solutions that can be implemented immediately. \nLucy Eckley is founder and director of strategic communications consultancy Build Your Brand Story. She helps independent consultants build a unique story so they can stand out in their industry\, get hired by their ideal clients and grow their expert status. \n  \n  \nGrażyna Borkowska is an expert in internal and external communications for companies and individuals. With over 20 years of experience—previously in national media—she specializes in developing communication strategies and implementing them effectively. She advises on and presents solutions in the fields of communication\, public and media relations support\, product PR\, and building expert credibility within the industry and the media. Specializations: PR\, internal communication\, product communication\, personal branding. LEGO® Serious Play® facilitator and co-author of the book *The Energy of Women*.
