Three IABC’s Gold Quill awards for Slovenia

San Francisco, 13 April 2017 – Among the winners of the prestigious international awards Gold Quill for the outstanding quality of communication projects are three Slovene teams. This year’s awards will be presented in Washington on June 13th.

Once again, Slovenia has reaffirmed that its communication practice is winning the highest international professional standards assessed by the IABC, the largest international association of professional communicators, based in San Francisco.

For the achievements in the field of communication management, the Gold Quill was won by BTC Slovenija and Pristop, which were awarded by the category for the Cycling Story. A comprehensive and successful program for promoting cycling in Slovenia was prepared by Maja Oven and Milena Prša.

For the quality of communication management in the public sector, the Studio Kernel team was awarded for a cluster of creative and effective solutions at the operative beginning of the Elementary School and the Kindergarten Ankaran.

For exceptional solutions in the field of communication skills, the Gold Quill was presented to the team consisting of Lidl Slovenia and Agencija PM, business media; they have composed the award winning Lidl magazine Preprosto, which is being created jointly by bloggers, chefs, writers, creators and photographers.

Excellent Slovenian communication projects have joined this year’s winners from 16 countries and all continents; among the European countries, the winners came mostly from Slovenia (the winners were also from Denmark, Russia, Lithuania, Great Britain and Italy).
