Leaders, line managers and listening with Trudy Lewis and Howard Krais

In IABC EMENA’s latest podcast, Monique meets communications consultant and executive coach, Trudy Lewis, and the lead in communications for the Clean Air sector of Johnson Matthey, Howard Krais. 

This jam-packed open discussion covers a variety of topics, relevant for both senior leaders and those wanting to start their communications careers. The podcast covers the importance of organisational listening, how communicators can support line managers, and what communications professionals can do to develop the crucial skills needed to become a leader.

Trudy Lewis will be speaking at our exciting cross-regional event IABC Converge about supporting purposeful leadership. With a variety of communications experience across a number of sectors, including retail and hospitality, she understands how to align a business’s communications strategy with its values and priorities. 

Howard Krais is a long-serving member of the IABC and is currently the Past President of the IABC UK & Ireland chapter. He will be speaking at the upcoming IABC World Conference. 

With over 25 years of professional communications experience, he has developed a passion for ensuring others understand the importance of listening. Together with colleagues Mike Pounsford and Kevin Ruck, Howard has published two reports on Listening in Communications with a third due to be launch on 13 April 2021, following the completion of a global survey.
