Our Mission

IABC EMENA seeks to connect communication professionals in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa with a global community.

Board Blog

Hi Everyone,

Storytelling is always such a large part of communication, which is why I was delighted to co-host the second London Unfiltered with Katie Macaulay of AB earlier this month. Five speakers shared personal stories, followed by drinks and conversations that went far deeper than your typical “so-what-do-you-do?” networking. The good news is that Katie and I are already plotting the third instalment – watch this space!

Looking ahead, we’re just days away from Turbocharge, IABC UK & Ireland’s flagship conference in London. The third edition might just be the best yet! If you’d like to join us, you can register here.

And if you’re thinking about future-proofing your comms career, don’t miss our next free Online Connect – register now.

In other news, the call for speakers for World Conference 2026 in Toronto is now open. You’ll find everything you need to know in this newsletter.

And finally, I sat down with former IABC EMENA board member and EMENA podcast host Chared Verschuur recently to talk about all things change, leadership communications, and how I got into internal and change communication almost 20 (yikes!) years ago. Listen to our conversation wherever you listen to podcasts.

Have a spooktacular Halloween and a great month ahead!
