Connecting communications professionals across Europe, The Middle East and North Africa

Our Mission

IABC EMENA seeks to connect communication professionals in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa with a global community.

Board Blog

I’ve been talking to a lot of comms pros and clients this month and everyone has said the same thing: “I thought December was supposed to be quiet?!”

It certainly wasn’t a quiet month for us, with three in-person events. In Berlin, our third Gift of Communication event united experienced professionals with purpose-driven non-profit organisations to solve comms challenges. In Brussels, a LEGO® Serious Play workshop allowed attendees to explore how AI is changing how we work, connect, and communicate. And in Warsaw, attendees enjoyed presentations and networking, covering all-hands calls as a comms tool for leaders, and navigating your path beyond your in-house role.

We’ve had nine events – both in-person and online – since the new board year started in July, and we’re far from finished! Join me at the next London Unfiltered in February for more storytelling and connection. And, of course, we’re planning other events, too, including our next Warsaw City Connect in February and the next edition of the Communication Leadership Summit in Brussels on Friday 17 April – save the date!

I want to thank everyone on the EMENA board, our community leads, and the UK & Ireland board for all of their incredible efforts this year. And I want to thank you – our members and friends – for all of your support. You are the reason we do what we do, and we couldn’t do it without you.

On behalf of the entire EMENA board, I want to wish you a wonderful festive season and a very happy new year.

Chair, IABC EMENA
