Hi Everyone,
We’re heading full steam ahead into the last quarter of the year. Here in London there’s a chill in the air and sweaters and coats are beginning to make a reappearance out in the streets. Many of you will be in full budget-planning mode, and soon it will be time to start thinking about year-end review-of-the-year content.
But not yet! There’s still plenty more to fit in.
On 15 September, Sharon O’Dea, Tony Stewart and Simon Cavendish logged on from three different time zones for a virtual session on what working with digital nomads can teach us about communication. It was an apt picture of how IABC EMENA works: across countries, languages and time zones, powered by dedicated volunteers.
Thanks to those volunteers, September saw plenty of in-person IABC connection too. The Unfiltered format returned to London’s Canary Wharf for a night of exceptional storytelling, moving on to Berlin for the first time a few days later. Barcelona held its first community gathering and we hosted local connects on the same day in four different cities across the Nordics. Looking ahead, there’s loads happening in October: Madrid is preparing for its first get-together and Brussels Unfiltered lands on 19 October. Full details are below.
