Barcelona Community Meetup | IABC EMENA

16 September 2026 | 18:30 to 21:00 CEST | Barcelona

A new IABC EMENA community is taking shape in Barcelona, and we’re bringing local communication professionals together for an informal evening of conversation, connections and drinks.

Join us on 16 September for the first meetup of our newly launched IABC EMENA Barcelona community, led by Barcelona Community Lead Marine Zanna.

The evening is designed to be simple and social. Come along to meet other people working across communications in Barcelona, exchange ideas and experiences, discover who is part of the local community, and make some new professional connections along the way.

Whether you work in corporate communications, internal communications, PR, employer brand, content, reputation, change or another area of the profession, you are very welcome to join us.

What to expect

• A small group of communications professionals from different industries and backgrounds
• An informal evening with plenty of time for real conversation
• An opportunity to meet Marine Zanna, IABC EMENA Barcelona Community Lead, and other members of the growing local community
• A relaxed setting in Barcelona
• A chance to discover IABC EMENA and connect with a much wider international network of communication professionals.

We are intentionally keeping the group small so that the evening stays conversational and everyone has a chance to properly meet each other.

Meet your Barcelona Community Lead

Marine Zanna is the IABC EMENA Community Lead for Barcelona, helping to build a local space where communication professionals can meet, exchange experiences and stay connected to the wider IABC community across EMENA and globally.

New to IABC EMENA?

The International Association of Business Communicators, IABC, is a global professional association for communication professionals with more than 50 years of history. IABC EMENA connects communicators across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa with that wider global community through local communities, professional events, learning and opportunities to exchange knowledge with peers across markets and communication disciplines.

The Barcelona Community Meetup is an easy way to get to know IABC locally, meet fellow communicators in the city and become part of the growing IABC community in Spain.

We look forward to seeing you in Barcelona.
