The IABC’s Gift of Communication program provides a unique opportunity for professional communicators to give back to their communities by offering strategic support to non-profit organisations. This initiative showcases the transformative power of effective communication while fostering valuable connections, skill-building, and hands-on experience.
At IABC, we don’t just talk about the power of communication — we put it into action. Through Gift of Communication, we unite experienced professionals with purpose-driven organisations to create meaningful impact.
On December 3, 2025, we’re proud to host the next Berlin edition at KiezLab, in partnership with Quadriga University of Applied Sciences and Rotary Club Berlin. The event will run from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, with optional networking afterwards.
As a highlight of this edition, we are welcoming graduates from Quadriga University’s of Applied Sciences MBA and Master’s programs, allowing professionals to collaborate with seasoned experts in tackling real-world communication challenges.

A Global Initiative with Local Impact

How It Works
It’s simple yet powerful: professionals volunteer to support non-profits in tackling communication and marketing obstacles, with options for single or ongoing engagements. Tailored pairings ensure each organization receives the specific support they need, and early-career professionals work alongside seasoned experts, gaining valuable experience.
For our event we’ll be offering a 3-hour session during a workday on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025.
During this interactive 3-hour session, communicators will work in small groups alongside local NGOs — helping them refine their messaging, strengthen outreach, and tell their stories with greater clarity and confidence.
Whether you’re an experienced professional or just starting out, this is your chance to contribute your skills where they truly matter, connect with inspiring peers, and experience the transformative power of communication in action.

We welcome participation from:

- Graduates from Quadriga University of Applied Sciences looking to gain real-world experience alongside industry leaders.
To qualify, non-profit organisations should:
- Be a registered charity or non-profit seeking pro-bono communication support
- Have a senior leader available to attend the event in person
- Not have any military affiliations.
